One of the most thrilling experience of my Symbi's life.
To see the world at grassroots level. IOPEPC stands for Indian Oil Production Of Exporter Association (INDIA). Every year they come and choose the students from final year batch of Agri-Business and then students are sent for survey of Sesame or Groundnut crops to different states of India(rural area). This survey helps the exporter to find out the Yield of the crop and estimate the price of the yield(although determining the price is completely difficult since its on the basis of demand from importer countries)
This year also our class was divided in 8 groups. I was selected in UP group for the study of sesame seeds(known as Teel in Hindi). The group comprised of Ankit(our group leader), Ghumu pandey(Abhishek), Deepti (my sweetheart) and I (Deepa).
Our first halt was in Agra the land which symbolize Love "Taj Mahal". The very first day we went to the birth place of Lord Krishna ... Over there we the royal treatment of VIP; credit goes to Ghumu. After that we met Ankit's jija ji and his didi and their 2 beautiful kids.
Next day early morning we all started our journey.... this journey was for our quest of knowledge.
Din chalte gaye aur hum log har din chalte gaye jalte gaye... gaon gaon ghume. no doubt this was actually a great learning for me and was full of fun as well. Baas dekhte dekhte din khatam ho gaye and ek hafta chala gaya. Bas we were all tanned and burned .....
But the end of this trip I had experienced a different world altogether.... and got good friends like Ghumu n Ankit ..
I loved my UP IOPEA Trip..... i will cherish the moment always
